At "Kakaku.com Product Awards 2024," organized by Kakaku.com, the smartphone AQUOS R9, which has been well-received since its launch in July in 2024, won the Silver Award in the Smartphone Category of the Smartphone Division.

"Kakaku.com Product Awards 2024" is an annual year-end event now in its 19th year. The awards are determined by independently aggregating points from product reviews and other data provided by Kakaku.com users. This means that products with high performance and user satisfaction relative to their price tend to be selected, regardless of market trends or sales figures.

This year, products released or registered between October 20, 2023 and October 18, 2024 were eligible for the awards, and those with high evaluations were selected as award-winning products.
