The TV commercial for smartphone AQUOS, which aired from July 12 to August 12 in 2024 was selected as one of the 152 brands in the "TV Commercial Storylines That Moved Consumers" award in 2024 announced by CM Soken Consulting on December 17 this year.
The "TV Commercial Storylines That Moved Consumers" award is given to companies that have contributed to improving their performance through excellent commercial storylines, based on a monthly survey of 3,000 consumers' CM likability. This commercial was awarded for being in the top 10% overall in CM likability and within the top 10 in the "Electronics & Precision Equipment" category during the 2024 survey period (November 2023 to October 2024). In this commercial, legendary Japanese actor Yusaku Matsuda was appointed as the brand ambassador for the smartphone AQUOS. The commercial was produced using cutting-edge technologies such as AI, high-definition 3D CG, and motion capture.
