▲ 4K OLED TV AQUOS QD-OLED <HS1 Line>, winner of the Judges' Special Award at VGP 2025 SUMMER AWARD
At VGP 2025 SUMMER AWARD, one of Japan's largest comprehensive awards for audiovisual equipment, organized by Ongen Publishing Co., 4K OLED TV AQUOS QD-OLED <HS1 Line> won the Judges' Special Award, while the newly developed image processing engine "Medalist S6X," featured in both AQUOS QD-OLED <HS1 Line> and 4K mini LED TV AQUOS XLED <HP1/HP2 Line>, won the Development Award.
<HS1 Line>, which earned the Judges' Special Award, was recognized for achieving even more stunning image quality by integrating a new-generation Quantum Dot OLED panel and advanced image processing engine. The Medalist S6X, recipient of the Development Award, was praised for incorporating a next-generation AI engine.
In the category awards, seven products received the Gold Award:

- VGP is Japan's largest and most prestigious comprehensive award for audiovisual equipment, launched in 1987. VGP is a comprehensive award for audiovisual equipment, the largest of its kind in Japan, which was launched in 1987. It covers "audiovisual products" such as 4K OLED/LCD TVs and Blu-ray recorders, "pure audio products" such as speaker systems and audio players, and "lifestyle products" such as earphones/headphones, wireless speakers, smartphones, and PCs. The VGP judges, consisting of 10 critics who are active in numerous media such as specialized magazines, as well as leading retailers nationwide, vote and judge the best-selling products, taking into account not only outstanding equipment performance but also market trends.
