Sharp's recruitment activities received the "HR SUCCESS Award 2025" at the HR SUCCESS SUMMIT 2025, a learning event on recruitment and human resources hosted by BizReach, Inc.
At the award ceremony held on Thursday, July 10 at the Tokyo International Forum, Takuro Nishitani, Senior Manager of Human Resources, Human Resources & General Affairs Unit, attended on behalf of Sharp.
In response to the increasing number of mid-career hires driven by Sharp's business transformation, Sharp established a new recruitment platform. In addition, to raise awareness among employees involved in mid-career recruitment, the company introduced a scouting-based hiring approach in key departments, promoting organizational-wide recruitment reform.
The "HR SUCCESS Award 2025" recognizes companies that have carried out innovative initiatives in recruitment and HR, contributing to corporate growth. Sharp's initiatives were introduced as a case study under the theme "Learning from Award-Winning Companies: Recruitment Reforms that Lead to Successful Rapid Growth". As a representative of the award-winning companies, Nishitani delivered a keynote speech at the summit.
