SMPL plant
The Republic of Poland borders seven countries, including Russia and Germany. On the north, it faces the Baltic Sea, and in the south, the land is surrounded by mountain ranges stretching from the Sudetes to the Carpathian Mountains with numerous marshes and lakes feeding rivers running down to the plains. Sharp Manufacturing Poland Sp.z o.o., our production base in Poland, is located in the north-central part of the country near the city of Torun, a UNESCO World Heritage Site situated on the Vistula River.

SMPL began production of LCD modules for LCD TVs in January 2007.

The AQUOS XD1E Series won in two categories in the LCD TV section of the Golden Pixel Awards conducted by voting on the Internet.
