Solutions Corporation Introduces Enterprise Collaboration Platform TeleOffice Cloud Service
On January 17, 2011 in Tokyo, Solutions Corporation introduced the TeleOffice corporate meeting support tool.
At its office in the Ark Mori Building East Tower in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sharp Corporation, announced the development and release of the TeleOffice collaboration platform for enterprises.
TeleOffice is a cloud-based collaboration platform designed to improve the productivity and quality of meetings and minimize the use of paper documents. TeleOffice enables collaboration participants to view and share materials among a variety of user devices.
Kicking off the meeting was Moriyuki Okada, Executive Managing Officer and General Manager, Domestic Sales and Marketing; Group General Manager, Domestic Sales and Marketing Group. He talked about Solutions' establishment and stressed that the company will grow its B2B business by offering cloud-based service solutions to corporate users worldwide.
Shigeru Nakane, President and CEO of Solutions Corporation, then outlined the TeleOffice concept and his company's aim of providing solutions that meet market and customer needs.
Participants got a clearer idea of the possibilities of the platform as they took part in a video conference in which Solutions, the Sharp Head Office in Osaka, and a Sharp base in Shanghai were linked using TeleOffice.
