Sharp Corporation will be exhibiting its advanced technologies and latest products at CEATEC Japan 2009, a comprehensive trade show of cutting-edge IT & electronics products, to be held from October 6 through October 10, 2009 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
In line with Sharp’s new environmental vision to achieve an “Eco-Positive Company”, Sharp will introduce its new manufacturing complex in Sakai city—Sharp Green Front Sakai*1—and its new solar DC Eco-House concept.

1. Main Stage |

Here Sharp will showcase the features of Sharp Green Front Sakai*1 that contributes to realizing an environmentally greener society, by manufacturing energy-saving and energy-creating products, as well as through the environmental measures taken at the complex. In addition, Sharp will display a solar DC Eco-House concept that is intended to create a “comfortable and healthy living environment with an independent energy supply” and an “environment with virtually zero CO2 emissions”, by utilizing an energy management system for the whole house, as well as energy-creating and energy-saving technology. |
2. Eco-Solutions Corner |

Visitors will be able to see Sharp’s health and environmental products, such as solar power systems, LED lighting/lamps, and products incorporating Plasmacluster Ions, by the digital signage system. In addition, ecology solutions proposals for business use in offices and factories will be exhibited. |
3. Audio-Visual Products Corner |
|
Visitors will see more advanced features of audio-visual products, including the “LED AQUOS” LX series, as well as AQUOS Blu-ray disc recorders with the world’s longest full-HD recording time, allowing extended recording time of 8.5X while retaining the full-HD quality as the original high-definition broadcast. |
4. Personal Communication Products Corner |

Sharp will promote new life-styles of experiencing cloud computing and enjoying a touch-screen user interface. There will be products such as a mobile internet tool, decor-enhancing telephones for living rooms and mobile phones with a touch screen feature. |
