Sharp and Daimler AG have reached a license agreement on wireless communication standard essential patents (SEPs) relating to LTE, adding to an already existing license agreement between Sharp and a component supplier, which already covers the vast majority of Daimler vehicles.
Sharp has now licensed LTE SEPs to many leading companies. Sharp keeps expanding the number of licensees and continues to grant its SEP licenses to any other parties under fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory conditions.
