This is a low-power-consumption display with a unique reflective structure using ambient light as its light source.
Sharp have achieved even lower power consumption by low-frequency drive utilizing our unique IGZO(※) technology.
(※) IGZO: An oxide semiconductor composed of In (indium), Ga (gallium), Zn (zinc), and O (oxygen), used as a semiconductor material for TFT (thin-film transistor) that drives displays with super low leak current characteristics.
High outdoor visibility (display brightness links to the ambient brightness)
