MY FOLDER PRINT

My Folder Print is a function that identifies user information from print data and automatically stores print data in folders for each user.
Users can print the print data from their own folders on the machine.
Using this function, the first time a user prints, the folder for the first user is automatically created, and the user does not need to create the folder by themself. Thereafter, the print data will be stored in the created folder.
To use this function, enable [My Folder Print] in "Settings (Administrator)"→[System Settings]→ [Printer Settings]→[My Folder Print Settings].

This function is not available during user authentication. It also cannot be used at the same time as the function of the print release parent machine or the document filing function from the printer driver. The My Folder Print key is not displayed at the default setting. To display this key, see " ADDING SHORTCUT KEYS".

FOLDER NAME

The folder name will be the name of the user and computer being used. The folder naming rule can be "user name" or "user name and computer name".
Example:
User name is YAMADA
Computer name is Computer1
When only the user name is used as the folder name
Folder name: YAMADA
When the user name and computer name are used as the folder name
Folder name: YAMADA(Computer1)

When setting folder naming rules...
Set the folder name rule in "Settings (Administrator)" → "System Settings" → "Printer Settings" → "My Folder Print Settings".

FOLDER

A maximum of 100 folders will be created.
If the number of folders exceeds 100, the following rules will be used to delete the folders.
Folders with no files and with an older modification date
All folders with files and an older modification date
Folders will be deleted regardless of whether they are ordinary folders or parent folders.
By factory default, folders with no files do not appear in the list.

If you want to list folders without files...
Enable in "Settings (Administrator)" → "System Settings" → "Printer Settings" → "My Folder Print Settings" → "Display Folders Even if They are Empty".
