Image Quality Adjustment

This setting can only be set on the operation panel.

Fusing Cleaning

Use this function to clean the machine's fusing unit when dots or other dirt appear on the printed side of the paper. When this function is executed, yellow printed paper is output and the fusing unit is cleaned.

If improvement is not noticed after the first time you use the function, try executing the function again.

Registration Adjustment

If the printed colours shift out of position when you print by Colour printing, you can adjust the print position of each colour to reduce colour shifting.
Tap the [Execute] key.

Colour Balance Adjustment

Easy Calibration

Output a test pattern and adjust it manually by checking the printed contents of the test pattern.
Tap the [Execute] key to print out a test pattern.
The test pattern will print a total of 49 grey cells, where X is 1 to 7 and Y is 1 to 7.
Check the grey cell you wish to set and select the X and Y combination on the touch panel.

Tone Adjustments

Adjust the density of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black individually.
Select the desired colour and adjust the density in the lightest, middle, and darkest areas of each colour.

Reset Settings

Resets the colour balance changed by Easy Calibration and Tone Adjustment to the factory default settings.

If the colour is still off after performing Easy Calibration or Tone Adjustments, repeating Easy Calibration or Tone Adjustments once again may improve the colour.
Before executing Easy Calibration or Tone Adjustments, check to see if the registration adjustment is correct. If the registration adjustment is not correct, perform "Registration Adjustment."
