SCANNING AND SENDING ORIGINALS COLLECTIVELY

SCANNING BOTH SIDES OF A CARD ONTO A SINGLE PAGE (CARD SHOT)

Send the front and reverse sides of a card as a single page, without the need to send each side separately.

  • If the scan size is larger than the send size, it will result in a sending failure.
  • The ratio cannot be specified and "Rotation Sending Setting" cannot be selected.

    • Tap the [Others] key, and tap the [Card Shot] key.

    Tap the [On] key, and specify the original size as required.

    After the settings are completed, tap .
    • Tap the areas displaying width and height sizes respectively, and enter the sizes using the numeric keys.
    • If the image is missing, shift the original inward and set it.
    To cancel the Card Shot settings
    Tap the [Off] key.

    Place a card face down on the document glass.

    DOCUMENT GLASS

    Tap the [Start] key, and scan the front side.

    After scanning, an informational message will appear indicating whether to continue scanning the reverse side or to end scanning. If you tap the [Read-End] key, transmission will begin.

    Place a card face up on the document glass, and tap the [Start] key to scan the reverse side.

    • All settings cannot be changed after beginning to scan.
    • To cancel all settings:
      • Tap the [CA] key.

    Tap the [Read-End] key.

    SCANNING A BUSINESS CARD (BUSINESS CARD SCAN)

    You can scan a business card.

    Place one business card that you want to scan on the document glass.

    Cautions when placing business cards
    • Available business card sizes are 55 x 91 mm.
    • If the shape of a business card is not square or rectangular, the business card may not be cropped correctly.

    Specify the destination.

    RETRIEVING A DESTINATION FROM AN ADDRESS BOOK
    VIEWING A LIST OF THE SELECTED DESTINATIONS
    ENTER DESTINATION MANUALLY
    RETRIEVING A DESTINATION FROM A GLOBAL ADDRESS BOOK
    USING A TRANSMISSION LOG TO RESEND

    Tap the [Others] key, and tap the [Bus. Card Scan] key.

    Tap the [On] key, and change settings as needed.

    When you have completed the settings, tap .
    To cancel the business card scan setting
    Tap the [Off] key.

    Tap the [Color Start] or [B/W Start] key to start scanning the originals.

    When scanning is completed, place the next group of originals and tap the [Color Start] or [B/W Start] key.
    Repeat the above step until you have scanned all originals, and then tap the [Read-End] key.
    When transmission is completed, a beep sounds.
    • When the Business Card Scan setting is canceled, the following items retain the setting changes that occurred when Business Card Scan was enabled. Resolution, File Type
    • Depending on the business card, it may not be extracted to the file correctly.
